Growing up in rural Virginia, I learned the style of southern home style cooking from recipes passed down from generation to generation. The art and craft of great barbecue is on of those traits.

I had opportunity to learn at a very early age and from there I developed a very strong passion for smoked meats, and the style of comfort food put on the supper table each and every night.

Oh how that takes me back every time I think about it!

With many years of hands-on experience and an intuition to make great barbecue, I took the leap into the BBQ world and decided to bring our style of southern home style cooking to each one of you. With homemade recipes and an incredible desire to provide the best damn bite of food you can get, I created Brocmar Smokehouse. It is this passion for bbq that we hope will keep people coming back for many years to come.
